CtG aims to create accessible pathways into this field for a diverse group of learners, who hope to gain the skills and understanding of tools needed to start working as data staffers for progressive organizations around the country. To better support these learners, CtG aims to simultaneously build out a mechanism of community building and support for existing practitioners and experts.

Requirements and Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with programming languages such as Python and R
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Requirements:
- Must be enrolled at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU)
- Must be a rising junior or senior
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must have completed at least one course in statistics or data analysis
Eligibility:
- Open to students of all majors
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Must be able to commit to the entire 6-week program
