About

Clark Atlanta University

Clark Atlanta University (CAU) is located in the heart of the Atlanta Metro area. As a member of the renowed Atlanta University Center (AUC), you'll find that CAU is within minutes from the fabulous Fox Theater, The Tabernacle, The Roxy, and the Underground. Clark Atlanta University (CAU) is an African-American liberal arts college that enrolls about 5,000 students yearly. It offers undergraduate and graduate degrees through its five schools: Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Education, Social Work, and Office of Graduate Studies. CAU is a member of the Atlanta University Center, a consortium of educational institutions that includes Spelman College and Morehouse College. Clark Atlanta University came into existence with the 1988 merger of two historically African-American colleges founded in the 1860s -- Clark College and Atlanta University.
