Jasmine Sanders

Jasmine is from Charleston, SC and was born in Greenville, NC. She is the daughter of a two-time Clemson grad and North Carolina A&T PhD graduate with family lineage tracing back to 2 brothers enslaved on a plantation in Mount Pleasant, SC. Jasmine chose NCCU for a chance to play Division I volleyball and ended up earning many life changing opportunities along the way. Jasmine has conducted research on HIV/AIDS and Health Disparities at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, and is a 2017 SAC Regional Champion. The networking, friendships, teammates, and opportunities that she has gained at NCCU are unmatched. This 2x MEAC All-Academic Team awardee genuinely wants to do things that will help people and not just make money for herself. Whether it was her at 18 years old starting a business raising funds for farms in Florida, or accepting a full-time offer to work at McKinsey & Company, being of service is always at the forefront of her decision-making. Jasmine's HBCU has taught her the meaning of "truth and service", which she says is now a motto that she lives by. Jasmine will graduate with magna cum laude honors and plans to work in multiple sectors within consulting before eventually going back to grad school to get her MBA.
