Christopher Isaac is a Virginia-born, Maryland-raised son of a lawyer and mortgage banker.  He's a mid-atlantic mix of his mom born in the North and dad born in the South. Christopher chose North Carolina A&T because it is the number 1 producer of Black engineers and he sought to become a part of the University's legacy. He completes internships in business and engineering to understand how to generate ideas and pool resources with the end goal of applying this knowledge to build a non-profit. He aims to use this non-profit to implement structural projects that improves lives around the world. While Christopher will immediately work for McKinsey & Company following graduation, he plans to go to business school to further his understanding of the decision making process of large companies. Among accomplishments in industry and work in the community, he is most proud of co-founding the 6-week Come Talk With Chris mentoring program, being the first NCA&T student to intern with McKinsey & Co, and completing his Eagle Scout project.

Independent Projects

Co-Founded a 6-week mentoring program at South East Middle School in Greensboro, NC for 7th grade boys from Oct 2019 to Nov 2019.  The goals of the program were to introduce them to college students, help them develop sustainable long-term goals, discuss the meaning of manhood, and practice public speaking.  My co-founder, other community organizers, teachers, and I would meet with all 7th grade boys once a week in groups of 10-15 to hold sessions on specific topics and give the boys the opportunity to present a small reflection speech.

For my Eagle Scout Project in 2016, I excavated an old flag pole base and installed a new flag pole base and flag pole in my neighborhood.  I planned the project, created a $500 budget, aligned with county permit authorities, and oversaw a team of 10 scouts for manual labor.  I had planned to complete the project in 5 weeks but finished in 3.
