- Startups must be early-stage and pre-seed or seed-stage.
- Startups must have at least one technical founder.
- Startups must not have raised more than $1M in seed funding.
- Startups must be based in the United States.
- Startups must be working on a product that is software-based or has a strong software component.
- The product must have a large addressable market and a clear path to monetization.
- Startups must be able to show some evidence of traction, such as user growth or revenue.
- Startups must be willing to participate in the Floodgate Outliers Program and accept funding and support from Floodgate.
