Our events seek to further build community between future students, current students, and alumni.

You’ll meet HBCU folks from other schools and hear from alumni at the top of their respective fields. Breakout sessions’ topics range from how to land a full-time job, to building a personal brand.



HBCUto Guides are your first step to understanding the ins and outs of opportunities and industries. Learn about the who, what, and why in the 101 section, create a roadmap to success in the Prep section, and leverage HBCUto coaches to help you seal the deal.


CODEHOUSE and WeAreHBCUs collaborated to launch the first annual (virtual) Brunch ‘N Code National HBCU Coding Competition. Brunch ‘N was a 4-hour event with a networking portion and a competitive coding portion. With over $1,200 in prizes, this competition rewarded teams who excelled in the coding competition.

HBCUto Fellowship.


The HBCUto Fellowship program is an immersive career development program for HBCU students. You'll learn from HBCU alumni who were in your shoes and are in positions you want! You'll participate in a series of learning experiences designed to expose you to and prepare you for opportunities in any discipline or industry.
